The HTMA test is the perfect jumping off point. Think of it as a compass, giving us direction in where your body's healing priorities are.
This test gives so much insight into the body's cellular health, hormonal processes, nervous system function, metabolic health, thyroid function, and more!
By taking a sample of clean, air-dried hair, we can see a summary of how your body has been using minerals over the last 3 months or so, and thereby understand so much about what's going on in the body and whats needed going forward.
This test is included in services like "A Great Place to Start" and the "Rooted Reset Package!"

The HUMAP test is similar to the popular DUTCH test in that it is an overview of steroid hormones, hormone detox pathways, and cortisol patterns, and even hormone synthesis pathways so we can see where in the process the hiccup is!
This is a multi-sample over a day's timeframe test taken during your luteal phase (ideally about day 22/23 of your cycle,) or any day for testing male hormones.
This lab option is one of the options included in the "Advanced Intake," included in the "Rooted Reset Package," and is also included in the "Deeply Rooted Concierge Package."

Blood Chemistry - Functional perspective
When viewed through the lense of *optimal ranges and patterns* instead of just "normal ranges," we get a lot of insight, and often confirmation of symptom sources. Instead of being told "your labs are normal, you're fine," because your numbers match the disfunction of the rest of society, we compare your lab numbers to the levels where you would function and feel your best.
For any service with Roots of Grace, you are welcome to upload any recent bloodwork you acquired through your primary care provider, or we can discuss how to get a comprehensive panel ordered for you for a separate cost.

Organic Acids Test (OAT)
Blood Chemistry - Functional perspective
The OAT gives insight into some nutrient levels, gut imbalances, the body's detoxification function, pathogenic overgrowth, mold toxicity, and cellular health.
This test uses a urine sample to test 76 different markers.
Since it is best to use this alongside other data, we like to also have the information from the HTMA and blood chemistry.
This test is an option for the "Advanced Intake," and is one of 6 different labs included in the "Deeply Rooted Concierge Package."
FULL thyroid panel
You can't get a truly full picture of thyroid health and processes without a full thyroid panel. Unfortunately many providers insist on only running TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone,) comparing it to a very wide "normal range," and then tell you you're actually fine while you are still running exhausted.
By running a full thyroid panel we can see if the problem is in the pituitary, the liver, the immune system, or the thyroid itself. And if we also do an HTMA test, we can see if there's a metal toxicity component and/or a lack of nutrients to supply the thyroid.
This test is included in the "Deeply Rooted Concierge Package," and can be added on to any other service for a nominal fee.
